What we collect

If you request a PDF by email, we collect your email address, the property address or parcel you looked up, the assessed value and taxing district you used, and the calculation results we generated. We also record when you submitted the request.

If you use the "Balance the budget" exercise, we save your spending-cut choices per taxing district, parcel and district context, and a snapshot of your tax calculation so you can open a personal report link. This helps local research and messaging insights; we do not sell this data.

When you use address lookup, we query public property records from the Okaloosa County Property Appraiser on your behalf. We do not ask for your name unless it appears in those public records.

What we do with it

• Send the PDF you requested to your email address.
• Store the submission in our database so we can troubleshoot delivery problems and improve the service.
• Contact you about follow-ups only if you explicitly opt in to that (we do not currently offer marketing emails).

What we don't do

• Sell your email or lookup history.
• Share it with advertisers or data brokers.
• Use it for targeted advertising.

Service providers

We use Supabase to store submission records and Resend to deliver your PDF email. Those providers process data only to run the service for us.

Property data source

Assessed values and parcel information come from the Okaloosa County Property Appraiser's public records. We retrieve that data on your behalf; we do not redistribute their database.

Cookies

We do not use analytics cookies, ad networks, or tracking pixels. Only what is strictly necessary for the app to function. If we add analytics later, this page will be updated first.

Deletion requests

Email privacy@saveourhomescalc.com from the address you used and ask us to delete your submission. We will confirm when it is removed. General questions can go to info@saveourhomescalc.com.
